Lays 75th Birthday

We love to see how brands celebrate their birthdays on social media  ! 
Its a area were brands can get very creative and get fans talking about the online celebration / party. 
but it can also become the most lame thing a brand does :P which we hate !!!! 

We believe when brands celebrate birthdays they should think inside the box maybe ? Getting Closer to your invitees ( fans ) ...we wont talk much  about it so we don't limit your thinking. 

According to Media Poondi :
Lays has created a campaign celebrating its 75th anniversary by sharing favorite summer moments for the 75 days of summer!
The brand is encouraging fans to share their favorite moments as well via the hash tag #Lays75 and giving them a chance to win $75 to make your summer perfect.
Lays has also created 75 summer posts ( see below ) to be shared daily for 75 days. 

What we think ? 

-The idea is not bad but we find it very lame in terms of something we have seen or something we can think of and not implement from how lame it is :P 
-The posts that lays share every day are over branded with Lays logo all over the image . 
- They used chips wrappers to create the items in the post ...again how will this benefit us or anyone. 
-  Oreo had a similar idea but when they did the 100 days of oreo or whatever it was called they related the posts to real time conversation :P that's why people related to it !!

When we think of  creation , invention , and innovation only one chef comes to our mind ! Chef Dominique Ansel ! He is a legend ! 

He is a French pastry chef that worked for Fuchon a well renowned french pastry boutique ...Then he moved to america where people are more fun and willing to try new things. In other words his french pastry blah blah blah wont do well ....then he innovated , created , and invented based on his expertise and his market . 

He is very smart he observers the market then he adds his touch of creativity and perfection of making his products. The technique that he uses to follow up with his invention , creation and invention is perfection.

We came across a product that :

What we think ? 
Considering the cost of $37 for one bottle its very expensive and not worth the price. Its not  bad product but i would but it at a lower price around 15 to 20 dollars. Hello Etisalat ,

We love your TVC ....very entertaining but again we go back with the challenge that is not really a challenge...

Here are things that we still dont get :
- If we wanted to challenge you ....how do we challenge you ?
- since the the only competition in the uae is du .....why dont you mention them ?

we think you should make the challenge more interesting ( like the TVC ) by challenging us to find a mobile tariff in the GCC that etisalat cant match or beat.

Rainbow Milk Celebrating 60 years !


OMG !!!
Another flying something....please brands stop flying objects over the city :P the last time we saw something fly over the city of dubai was an aston martin that landed on the Burj Alrab helipad :P please stop and lets get more creative please :) ( UFO style much )


Now lets start with Rainbow's flying object ADV!

What we think ! :

we love ! Thats a great way to start the story of this video 

we love ....we cant wait to know more 

Thats true ...now we are very emotional and we are thinking of the movements we had growing up with rainbow. Lots of great memories wether its at home , with grandma , at work , with friends ......... 

why why why !!! after all the emotions we had and remembered...that how you end the story by sending a huge Karak tank  using a helicopter !! thats just not right ...we grew up with rainbow and we have so many emotions attached to it ! Trust us thats not a new route its just thinking inside the box !!!! 

And what we cant believe people are running to it :P hahahaha thats just funny
and one thing we hate " T shirt branded Promoters with a cap " they remove the raw feel of the activation.



Anyways ,  we think that rainbow milk has the best chance of becoming the best in terms of social marketing internationally. But you just need to think more maybe and not follow other you need to lead .  Your brand is very strong and is consumed by most of us daily.

KFC Flying Bucket

A huge flying KFC bucket ? We loved the idea but we did not like is how the idea was implemented in reality and socially. We loved the idea when we saw the pictures only but we kinda disliked the video published on youtube! we don't think that the stunt had a organic feel to it and and  no strong message to support the idea.

Unfortunately the stunt did not make us go buy a KFC bucket or even order food by delivery....  unlike Ahlams KFC's stunt on Arab idol made us buy a spicy chicken meal ( that being said we have only eaten KFC about 5 times in our lives ). 

Communication analysis : 
“Tweet now using #KFCFlyingBucket and get the chance to win an amazing helicopter ride over #Dubai! Don't miss your chance!" --> only competition seekers will do that

 “the taste that comes to you anywhere”--> They never delivered to kite beach before ? Dont they have a location on Jumeriah beach road that is close to the beach ?



The Good : 
From what we see people love it ...They loved the free food and the surprise at the beach. As we said the idea is great and can create a Dubai buzz but if the communication tactics were executed differently it would have been international , organically viral , and make us buy our sixth meal :p

One more thing we can no longer find the video on youtube we don't know why ? ...but we have shared below the picture that went Dubai viral and the video of Ahlam's KFC moments on Arab idol.

The Dinner Club 57

We love !

we have been fans of this movement from the start ...its a very inspiring and exciting journey.

The founders of the concept are very smart in terms s of incorporating social media into their product .

The girls concept of the movement was very smart and exclusive that allowed only a certain number of people to experience it .

 The components they used for the dinner club movement :

Phase one: The Dinner Club 57 hosted dinners 
Select invitees , secret location , unexpected venue , beautiful setup, story telling , international standards, international brands, the girls worked on all the details from A to Z , followed trends , signature style , beautiful  , memorable giveaways ,behind the scenes content and beautiful curated content.

These components helped hyped and groom the reputation of the Restaurant that opened in the capital Abudhabi.


Phase two: No.57 Boutique Cafe
