We love to see how brands celebrate their birthdays on social media !
Its a area were brands can get very creative and get fans talking about the online celebration / party.
but it can also become the most lame thing a brand does :P which we hate !!!!
We believe when brands celebrate birthdays they should think inside the box maybe ? Getting Closer to your invitees ( fans ) ...we wont talk much about it so we don't limit your thinking.
According to Media Poondi :

The brand is encouraging fans to share their favorite moments as well via the hash tag #Lays75 and giving them a chance to win $75 to make your summer perfect.
Lays has also created 75 summer posts ( see below ) to be shared daily for 75 days.
What we think ?
-The idea is not bad but we find it very lame in terms of something we have seen or something we can think of and not implement from how lame it is :P
-The posts that lays share every day are over branded with Lays logo all over the image .
- They used chips wrappers to create the items in the post ...again how will this benefit us or anyone.
- Oreo had a similar idea but when they did the 100 days of oreo or whatever it was called they related the posts to real time conversation :P that's why people related to it !!
